A Skip will be delivered to site on Tuesday 19th March 2024
This is for removal of site waste only and the rules detailed below must be adhered to.
The following items MUST NOT be placed in the skip to ensure compliance with the Terms & Conditions of Hire and Environmental Legislation.
· OIL
· ASBESTOS
· CHEMICALS
· RUBBER TYRES
· OTHER RUBBER PRODUCTS
· GAS CYLINDERS
· ROOFING FELT
· TREE ROOTS
· PAINT
All pallets and bulky items must be broken down before they are placed in the skip as they take excessive space in the skip.
Any METAL items are to be placed on the pallet at the side of the skip. This will be collected separately.
No items from offsite to be placed in the skip
THE SKIP CAN ONLY BE USED DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS.
Be considerate to other plot holders. If you have a lot of waste material, be considerate of how much you put in, maybe hold some back for a future date.
If you have any items that may be of use to another plotholder consider using the free table rather than the skip.
When the SKIP FULL sign is posted do not place any further items in the skip. Do not place items at the side of the skip.
Committee members will monitor the use of the skip and any plot holder observed infringing the rules may be subject to cancellation of their Tenancy.
The skip is for the benefit of all plot holders and if the previous thoughtless actions are repeated on this occasion the Committee will reconsider the viability of providing this facility.
